Song of the Day: "Conscience" by Sun

     I was looking up songs by the Lafayette Afro Rock Band on YouTube and this tune "Conscience" by the Ohio funk group Sun came up.
     I love the strong horns in the beginning and the infectious grove throughout the song.
     And the lyrics can't be any more real: "I know what you're saying//Know what you're doing//Know what you're planning//...I'm in your mind, baby!"
     I played this for my teenage cousins during Christmas break and they looked at me like I had five heads.
     Oh well. They'll come around one day.
     As for me, I know my ears aren't fooling me.
     The message in this song is too clear: "Let your conscience be your guide."
     What a great song.
