Trash can be treasure

Lotion. Hair spray. lip gloss. Body cream.
When I get done with these products, I try to find some kind of creative way to reuse the containers or jars.
I'm currently using an old body cream jar to hold my rubberbands, and I'm using an old candle jar to hold my make-up brushes.
Another old body cream jar houses my buttons.
How do you recycle your old product containers? What do you put in them?
