Food I've been eating and drinking lately

Hi there!

Hope you're doing well!
I wanted to share a few things that I've been eating and drinking lately:

Kandula pink tea:

I bought this from Marshall's for about $3 because pink is one of my fave colors and I was intrigued to see how the hue would fare as a tea. It was good. And pretty.

Belgian waffles topped with honey, Greek yogurt, strawberries, and with a side of Morning Star sausage:
I saw a similar dish in my Whole Living Body & Soul Magazine and wanted to try it out. Love the taste. This has been my Sunday breakfast for the past few months.

Pasta and peas with Mascarpone cheese:
I recently bought some Mascarpone cheese and had some left over and decided to cook it with pasta and peas. It was OK. Liked it better with fresh fruit, though.

Green smoothies:
I made this fruit smoothie with kale. Forgot what kind of fruit I used. Whomp#

What about you? What are you eating and drinking these things? What are you loving to gulp down?

FTC Disclosure: I paid for the products in this post with my own funds.

  1. The tea sounds good...although, I don't stray too far from regular or green tea. The pasta "looks" good, but not too sure about mascarpone cheese (what does it taste like)? I don't like anything on my waffles or pancakes except syrup. I just don't do extra stuff. lol The fruit smoothie...nope, can't do that flavor - does not look or sound appealing. I'm eating and drinking pretty much everything I probably shouldn't. LOL

  2. Hey Crystal. Hope you're doing well today! That tea is awesome! I mainly drink green but like to adventure out. Mascarpone cheese is slightly sweet. It's actually not too bad. I fell in love with that Body and Soul recipe and figured it couldn't hurt, especially since I had all the ingredients in my fridge! Try the smoothie. You'd be surprised. Might feel better too:)

  3. I can't abide kale, but that smoothie looks so good. I made homemade stovetop mac n' cheese with goat cheese and bacon. Whole Foods sells dinosaur-shaped pasta in bulk now, which is something of a game changer.

    1. Hi Mslizot! Kale is not bad if you season it right. It's my fave green. That smoothie was so good. OMG I miss mac n cheese! Sounds so good. Dinosaur-shaped pasta? Sounds interesting! Whole Foods is coming to my city soon so I'll look out for that!
