Ulta Eye crayon in blue
I've grown to love wearing colorful eyeliners on my peepers.
Since I'm not a morning person, a quick dash of bright eyeliner gives my face a nice little bit of color.
That's why I was excited to score this free Ulta eye crayon during a recent visit. The double-ended crayon retails for about $10 and comes in several shades.
Here's a swatch:
I love that it has a smudge brush and an in-pencil sharpener on one end.
The liner was pretty durable and brightened up my face. Here's a pic of it on my peepers:
I wear it with clear balm or nude lipstick to further make it stand out.
What's on your eyelids these days?
FTC Disclosure: I paid for the crayon with my own funds.

Wet n wild lipstick review and swatches
Here are some more goodies from one of my fave drugstore brands, Wet n wild.
These lippies come in an array of colors and are only 99 cents.
I got mine for 69 cents through a special sale CVS had for its Beauty Club Members.
The lippies are Dark Wine (522A) and Light Beige Frost (510A).
Here are swatches:
Here's Dark Wine (522A) on my kisser:
And Light Beige Frost (510A) on my kisser:
These lippies are OK. They weren't very durable and I found them to be drying, but I can't really complain because they're under a dollar, right?
I really do like the pigmentation on them, though. And Light Beige Frost has a pearlescant finish to it.
Overall, I'll end up throwing these in my bag as a back up to my Buxom lipsticks.
I like these Wet n wild lippies more for convenience.

Happy Valentine's Day: A pink lippie review
When I think of Valentine's Day, of course pink comes to mind.
And when I think about pink lipstick, Nicki Minaj's face automatically pops up in my dome.
Maybe it's because it's the only thing that looks rather visible when she wears her kookie outfits?
I don't know, but that's the first thing I thought about when playing with my Retro Pink lipstick from Wet n wild.
Here's a swatch:
And on my kisser:
Retro Pink is a really pretty pink, but not very unique.
I still like it though, and will likely rock this out to the mall, movies or on a date night.
What do you think? What's your fave pink lipstick? What's currently on your kisser these days? And I hope you have a sweet Valentine's Day, whether you're single or booed up!
FTC Disclosure: I won the lipstick mentioned in this post.

R.I.P Whitney Houston
First, Etta James.
Then, Don Cornelius.
Now, Whitney Houston.
I know death is certain but damn.

wet n wild coloricon eyeliners
When it comes to eye liners, Urban Decay's 24/7 liners rule my eye lids.
But these 99 cent color icon liners from Wet n wild aren't so bad.
The colors are charcoal, purple and dark brown.
I got them from CVS during a special sale for beauty club members for 69 cents.
Here are swatches:
And after a wet test:
They glide on nicely, stay and are nicely pigmented. I've been wearing them with black mascara and clear lip balm.
It's a nice simple look from an inexpensive drug store find. O, and before I go, doesn't the "S" on them look like the Sephora label?
Maybe it's just me?

DIY: Pink Punk Nails inspired by Sephora
I love leopard as a print, especially on my nails.
That's why I went gaga over this Sephora Punk Nail tutorial:
Here's my version:
I used Revlon's Fuchsia Shock and SinfulColors' Black on Black and Snow Me White to create this animated look. This look is just too pretty! Here, have another look:
I'm definitely going to try this look with a different color; maybe a bright green or yellow or maybe even an orange!
What about you? What's on your tips and toes these days?

Time for Five: Things I'm currently into
1. This little Postal truck figurine: I saw this Postal truck figure at CVS for about $5. It reminds me of my father, rest his soul. My father worked for the Post Office in New York for years. I miss him dearly.
2.Striving for success: This picture sums up my life and thoughts right now. Not that I haven't attained a considerable amount of success in my young life, but I want more. I feel that 2012 has BIG things in store for me:)
3. New Glasses: I recently got new glasses (and a stronger prescription to match it) and love how chic they are.
4. Go the F*ck to Sleep: This book is just so freaking funny that I've been crying out my eyes while reading it!
5. Shadow palettes: I've been having lots of fun playing around with my shadow palettes. Why buy more when I have so many that I can use up?
FTC Disclosure: I paid for the cosmetic products mentioned in this post.
